Paul Fawcett has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of PR and communications. Paul started their career at the Medical Research Council as a Press Officer, where they gained international recognition for breaking the news on the effectiveness of combination therapy for HIV. From there, they moved on to the British Heart Foundation as a Communications Manager, leading a team responsible for health promotion communications. Paul later worked as an Independent Consultant, providing strategic communications advice to clients in the health and science sector.

In 2001, Paul joined Victim Support, a national charity, where they served as the Head of Communications and Marketing. During their time there, they successfully led a campaign to create a single national charity by persuading local trustee boards to vote in favor. Paul also organized numerous conferences for delegates.

In 2013, Paul became the Director of Communications and Marketing at One Housing Group, a growing housing association in London. Paul was responsible for both strategic and operational delivery of all communication functions, leading a team of 12 professionals.

Their most recent role was as the Head of PR & Communications at Futures Housing Group, an affordable housing provider in the East Midlands. Paul led a team to raise brand awareness, engage customers, and create a highly engaged workforce.

Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated their expertise in leading teams, developing strategic communications plans, and delivering successful campaigns.

Paul Fawcett attended Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, from 1982 to 1985. During this time, they pursued a degree in Biological Sciences, with a focus on Biology/Biological Sciences, General.

In addition to their academic education, Paul Fawcett obtained two additional certifications. In August 2011, they obtained the PRINCE2 certification from APMG International. Paul also obtained the MCIPR certification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in July 2011.
