Mark Prete

Mark Prete has been working in the IT field since 1996. Mark began their career as a Site Manager and Cable Installer at Computer Enterprise Inc., where they managed customer sites and installed electrical, data, and fiber-optic cabling. In 2005, they moved to the City Of Westlake Ohio as an IT Assistant, providing support to all departments and administering a Blackberry Server for the Fire and Service Departments. Mark then joined Ernst & Young as an Americas Level 2 Service Desk Analyst in 2006, providing phone and ticket based technical support for over 100 applications. In 2016, they joined The J.M. Smucker Company as a Senior Analyst - Support Services, providing phone and ticket based technical support for various applications and managing four interns. Finally, in 2018, they joined Futuri as an Application Developer and Streaming Engineer.

Mark Prete completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in CIS from Kent State University between 2002 and 2005. Mark also obtained two Associate's degrees in Business Management and HR Management from Cuyahoga Community College between 2002 and 2004. In 2021, they obtained four certifications from LinkedIn, including Ruby Essential Training Part 1: The Basics, Ruby Essential Training Part 2: Classes and Modules, Ruby Essential Training Part 3: Files, Formats, Templates, and C Essential Training.
