Robin Jones

Robin Jones began their career in 2002 as an On Air Talent for iHeartMedia, where they were responsible for voice tracking afternoons and weekends at KYMT-FM, creating listener interaction on the air and via online presence, and producing radio commercials for all stations within the local company cluster. In addition, they served as the Public Service Director, connecting with members of the community via interviews and PSAs about causes that affect Kern County. In 2021, they moved to Alpha Media USA as an On Air Talent for Energy 95.3 (KLLY-FM), with blogging and social media knowledge. That same year, they also started at Futuri as a Content Writer for News, Rock, and Sports at TopicPulse, where they wrote quick, compelling show prep for radio focusing on rock and alternative music, lifestyle, special interests, sports, and food. Finally, in 2022, they joined Dotdash Meredith as a Commerce Producer and Content Update Producer, creating updates for online Dotdash Meredith brands, including basic proofreading (spelling and punctuation), making suggestions for corrections, researching product listings and prices, and identifying issues within articles.

Robin Jones graduated from California State University, Bakersfield with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
