Carlos Martinez has a comprehensive and extensive work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Carlos began their career at Fox Latin American Channels, where they held various positions such as Executive Director of Affiliate Sales and General Manager for the North Cone Latin America region. In 2005, they moved to Fox International Channels (FIC) as the Senior Vice President and Deputy Managing Director for Latin America, responsible for revenue generation and expanding the channel portfolio.
In 2009, Carlos joined Fox Networks Group as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Latin America. Carlos played a pivotal role in transforming the company from Pay TV to Pay Content on SVOD and AVOD platforms. Carlos managed a team of over 2,000 executives and successfully launched new video and content streams, contributing to the company's $1.5 billion P&L. Carlos left the company after Disney's acquisition of FOX.
Following their tenure at Fox, Carlos held various roles at different organizations. Carlos worked as a Consultant for Tubi and subsequently became a Partner at Botanico Gin and Cookhouse, Little Hen, and Cantina Leon. In 2020, they founded Futvox, a social media and audio platform dedicated to football.
Carlos's most recent position is as a Partner at Fox Sports Mexico, where they currently serve. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their ability to drive strategic transformations, develop innovative products, manage large teams, and generate substantial revenues in the media and entertainment industry.
Carlos Martinez obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management, from Universidad La Salle, A.C. Carlos attended the university from 1990 to 1995.
