Jimmy da Silva

Jimmy Da Silva is a skilled robotics scientist currently employed at Fuzzy Logic Robotics since April 2022. Previously, Jimmy served as a research engineer for the FAROS European project at ISIR in early 2022, focusing on enhancing spine surgeries through surgical robotics. From January 2019 to January 2022, Jimmy completed a PhD in medical robotics at SpineGuard. Earlier experience includes a robotics research engineer role at ISIR, with an emphasis on computer vision and multi-RGBD sensor systems, and a graduate research assistant position at Georgia Institute of Technology, involving motion planning and reactive path deformation. Additionally, Jimmy undertook a research internship at Johns Hopkins University. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Control and Industrial Computing from IMT Atlantique.
