Vishal Patel

Vishal Patel has diverse work experience in various industries. Vishal is currently the Co-Founder of Sollasa, a brand of lower alcohol spirits. Prior to this, Vishal worked at Distill Ventures as an Investment Director, where they led new investments to expand the company's drinks portfolio. Vishal also worked as an Investment Associate at Distill Ventures, supporting entrepreneurs in developing and scaling their drinks brands. Vishal served as a Strategic Adviser at both The Smart Container Company and Pluto. Vishal was an Investment Associate at Anthemis Group and a Board Observer at Meniga. Vishal has also worked as a Private Equity Associate at Sidley Austin LLP and as a M&A Legal Counsel at SABMiller. Vishal started their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Hogan Lovells and served as the Events Director of Itchy Feet Bristol at Edge Hill Entertainment.

Vishal Patel completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a focus on Law with Study in Continental Europe at the University of Bristol from 2009 to 2013. Vishal then pursued an Accelerated LPC (Legal Practice Course) specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at BPP Law School from 2013 to 2014. As part of an Erasmus Scheme, they studied Law at Université de Bordeaux from 2011 to 2012. Prior to attending university, Vishal Patel attended Dauntsey's School from 2002 to 2009.
