Taro Sekimoto

Taro Sekimoto has a diverse work experience in the corporate and marketing fields. Taro started as the CMO and Corporate Officer at FWD Insurance in July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Assistant Vice President and Head of Brand & Marketing Japan at FWD Insurance from May 2021 to July 2022. Before joining FWD Insurance, Taro Sekimoto worked at Samsung Electronics, where they were the Director of Corporate PR from April 2020 to May 2021. Taro also served as the CMO for the Galaxy Mobile Division in Japan from June 2018 to March 2020, where they led various marketing initiatives, including Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Games and Brand Showroom operations.

Taro Sekimoto completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Southern Oregon University from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1991, they attended Lane Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts degree. In 1988 to 1989, they participated in the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at the University of Oregon's American English Institute.
