Ted Hutchinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ted began their career as a Teacher at Ransom Everglades School in 1999. In 2004, they transitioned into a role as an Assistant Public Defender at Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office. Ted then joined the Office of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee as a Legislative Assistant in 2007, followed by a move to the Office of Congresswoman Laura Richardson as a Legislative Counsel later that year. In 2009, they became the Associate Director of Public Relations at the American Association for Justice.
