Patrick Cormier has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2005 as an Africa & MIddle East Correspondent and Photographer for Guardian News & Media. Patrick decommissioned and introduced new product offerings, leading the transition to a cloud-first approach and supervising key performance indicators for reporting teams.
Most recently, Cormier joined Tink in 2021 as a Scrum Master, working on the SAFe framework. Patrick then moved to FX Innovation in 2022, where they currently serve as a Product Owner and Scrum Master SAFe.
Patrick Cormier has a diverse education history. Patrick obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from McGill University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued studies in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MITx).
In addition to their degrees, Patrick also holds several certifications. These include an in-progress Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISP) certification from Cisco, an in-progress Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification from Cisco, a Yellow Belt certification from the Six Sigma Management Institute, and an MCDBA - SQL Server 2000 certification from Microsoft.
