Nina Rivas

Passionate about design and construction, Nina is particularly adept at turning buildings on paper into buildings in reality. Starting in the earliest phases of a drawing set, she develops both a project's documentation and manages its implementation, staying in close contact with clients and maintaining a constant presence on job sites. As a result, taking a building from schematic design through construction completion is one of her greatest strengths.

Originally from Venezuela, Nina spent most of her childhood in Brasilia, Brazil, which made her cognizant of how particular spaces and cities made her feel. These sensibilities led her to study architecture in her native Venezuela before starting a career as an architect in Florida. It was during the first major project she worked on in Florida, when the departure of a project manager and principal forced her to take ownership of the entire construction administration process, that Nina was inspired to develop the expertise she has today.

A natural organizer, Nina enjoys building teams and relationships with every project she works on. This enthusiasm extends beyond her official duties and into extra-curricular involvements, where she is involved with numerous women's initiatives across the design and construction industry.
