To Teyana, every day brings new successes, challenges, and opportunities to see projects take a step closer to their realization. As much diplomat as office manager, Teyana appreciates how multilayered her involvement is in the day-to-day operations: keeping the office running smoothly encompasses taking part in firm initiatives, approving budgets, managing the support team, fostering a collegial work environment, and supporting firm partners.

Seeing the culmination of years spent designing and planning never fails to inspire Teyana—her favorite moments of her job are witnessing a project become a thriving cultural space or building, knowing that the firm's expertise was integral its success.

Along with her responsibilities as office manager, Teyana is instrumental in programs that provide professional education and training to design firm personnel. Thanks to her ability to articulate a vision—as well as provide effective guidance and management of resources—Teyana is often invited to speak at inner city schools to inform, inspire, and support teens in reaching their life goals.
