Terri S. Jackson has extensive work experience in the field of education and diversity and inclusion. Their most recent role is as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at The Frances Xavier Warde School, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Principal for Student Services at Loyola Academy from 2020 to 2023. Terri also worked as an Educator at Wolcott School from 2019 to 2020. From 2016 to 2019, they held multiple roles at Quest Academy, including Assistant Head of School/Director of Curriculum, Innovation, and Instruction, as well as Head of Middle School and Head of Lower School. Earlier in their career, Terri was the Head of Middle School at Maumee Valley Country Day School from 2015 to 2016 and held the position of Diversity Committee Chair. Terri also worked at The Orchard School from 2007 to 2015, where they served as the Community Engagement and Service Learning Coordinator and the 8th Grade Team Leader, in addition to being a Middle School Teacher for Literature & Language Arts. Terri also has experience at the National Association for Independent Schools, where they served as the NAIS People of Color Conference Co-Chair in 2014.

Terri first attended Dillard University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. Following this, they attended the University of Vermont from 2002 to 2004, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English/Language Arts Teacher Education. Later, they attended Purdue University from 2004 to 2007, where they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree, although the field of study is not specified. Most recently, in the year 2022 to 2023, Terri attended Creighton University and received a Graduate Certificate in Catholic and Independent School Leadership.
