Gal Aviv

Gal Aviv has a strong background in engineering and technology, with experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Gal is working at Digital Turbine as the SVP Engineering and General Manager IL. Prior to this, Gal held the position of CTO at Fyber, a Digital Turbine Company, and previously served as the SVP of Technology at Fyber from 2018 to 2020. Gal also worked at Inneractive, which was later acquired by Fyber, where Gal served as the VP of R&D and earlier as an Engineering Manager. Gal has also served as an Advisory Board Member at Spot.io and Gamitee Ltd. Additionally, Gal has experience in early-stage investments at JVP. Before transitioning into management roles, Gal gained valuable technical experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Amobee and a System Architect at CallmyName (NTTM). Gal started their career in the Israeli Air Force, where they held positions as a Software Engineering Manager and a Software Engineer. Prior to their military service, Gal worked at Calanit as a Technical Support Team Leader and a Technical Support Representative.

Gal Aviv has a diverse education history. Gal holds an Executive MBA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Gal also has an MSc in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel and a BSc in Software Engineering from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo. In addition to their formal education, Gal has obtained a Director Certification from GKH Law Offices: Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg, Shenhav & Co. in 2018.
