Eric Rosenfield has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Eric started their career in 2004 as an Executive Recruiter at Premier Personnel, where they excelled in recruiting, interviewing, and maintaining client relationships. In 2005, they worked as a Legal Assistant & Office Manager at Associates in Dispute Resolution & Building Bridges, handling day-to-day operations while assisting a professor with class preparation.
From 2007 to 2008, Eric served as a Student Assistant at the University of Kansas and later as a Research Assistant at the International Center for Ethics in Business. In these roles, they focused on increasing visibility and integration of ethical issues in business, as well as designing and maintaining surveys related to ethics education.
In 2008, Eric worked as a Horticulture Intern at K-State Research & Extension/Johnson County Environmental, where they identified grant funding and led community outreach programs for sustainable lawn care. Eric later joined NeighborWorks America in 2009, initially serving as a Coordinator in the Organizational Assessment Division and later as a Planning and Evaluation Specialist. Eric played a key role in corporate planning, performance evaluation, and strategy development.
In 2014, Eric ventured into entrepreneurship and started their own consulting business under the name Eric R. Rosenfield. Eric worked as a Business Consultant, providing strategic guidance and support to various clients. Simultaneously, Eric also became a Managing Partner at Smith & Tinker, LLC, where they oversaw operations and guided the company's growth until 2016.
In 2015, Eric joined Sustainable Saratoga as a Sustainability Consultant, where they advised on sustainable practices and initiatives. Eric later transitioned into a role at FYE - For Your Entertainment in 2017. Initially, they served as the Manager of Marketing & Merchandising and was later promoted to the position of Director of Product Development in June 2022.
Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated a strong aptitude for project management, strategic planning, and fostering organizational growth.
Eric Rosenfield obtained their BA in Psychology from Skidmore College, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Eric later pursued an MBA in Sustainable Development and Human Resources Development from the University of Kansas - Graduate School of Business, graduating between 2006 and 2008. In addition, they obtained a LEED Green Associate certification from USGBC in May 2011.
