Tony Cini

Tony Cini has a diverse work experience in data analytics and engineering. Tony currently serves as the Head of Data & Analytics at Fyorin since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Science & Data Engineering Consultant, focusing on improving clients' analytics skills and data competencies. Tony also worked on projects for an innovative start-up with a charity arm and a logs store company, where they developed automated ETL processes.

Before that, Tony served as a Data Scientist and Big Data BI Engineer at Gaming Innovation Group from June 2020 to June 2021, where they analyzed casino, sports, and lotto data, translated business problems into data science solutions, and developed predictive models and simulations. Tony also worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Binary.com from March 2018 to October 2019, primarily focusing on trading in Binary Options and CFDs.

Earlier in their career, Tony served as a Systems Engineer at the University of Malta from May 2017 to March 2018, where they supported IT requirements for teaching and research. Tony played a key role in administering Unix systems and maintaining core services. Tony also worked as a Service Control Officer at Ixaris from September 2015 to May 2017, where they monitored systems, implemented system alerts, and managed the release and configuration of Linux systems.

Tony's work experience highlights their expertise in data analytics, data engineering, predictive modeling, and system administration.

Tony Cini holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in ICT (Communications and Computer Engineering) from the University of Malta. Tony completed this degree between 2011 and 2014. In addition, Tony also obtained a Master of Science in ICT with a specialization in Signal Processing and Machine Learning from the University of Malta at an undisclosed time.
