Guillermo Ortiz

Guillermo Ortiz is an experienced manufacturing and production manager with a strong background in lean manufacturing and operational efficiency. Currently serving as Gerente de planta at Collado Industries by Grupo Collado since June 2021, Guillermo oversees three business units, achieving significant productivity increases in Slitter and Nivelado processes. Previously, as Gerente de Servicios at HELVEX SA DE CV, Guillermo implemented four manufacturing cells in line with Industry 4.0 principles. At Generac Power Systems, Guillermo led production and warehouse departments while adopting lean tools to enhance efficiency and maintain ISO9000 and ISO14000 certifications. Guillermo's career began at Lincoln Electric, where roles included Plan Manager and Gerente de Producción, focusing on inventory management and cost reduction strategies. Guillermo holds a Master's degree in Administration with a specialization in Finance from Universidad Intercontinental and an Industrial Engineering degree from the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería y Ciencias Sociales y Administrativas.
