Okechukwu Joachim Okoro

Okechukwu Joachim Okoro is a legal professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Chair of the Energy Practice at Multilaw since December 2023, Okechukwu collaborates with the Multilaw Global Office in London to enhance the Energy practice and oversee the development of its programs. Okechukwu is also a member of the Africa Committee at the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) since October 2023. In addition to these roles, Okechukwu has been a Deputy Managing Partner, Partner, and Senior Associate at G. Elias since September 2013, where leadership in the Energy Practice Group has been a focus. Prior experience includes managing counsel at A.A. Mu'Alimu & Co./Rhema Law House and roles at Steve Adehi & Co., alongside a solid educational foundation with degrees from Bayero University, Ebonyi State University, Nigerian Law School Kano, and the University of Maiduguri.
