John Goodwin

John Goodwin has extensive experience in IT and systems administration, having held various roles over several decades. Currently serving as a Tech Engineer at G.Network Communications since January 2021, John previously worked as an EMEA contract Unix/Linux SysAdmin at Bloomberg LP for one year. Prior to that, John was a Solution Support Tier 2 Engineer on a 24x7 team at Claranet from April 2011 to August 2016. John's career began at Rensburg Sheppards as an HP-UX Systems Administrator from 1991 to 2008, followed by a position as IT Operations Shift Leader at National Investment Group plc from 1988 to 1991, and as DP Computer Operations Shift Leader at SGB plc from March 1986 to October 1988, where responsibilities included managing batch processing on MDISL Sequoias and Series 19 systems. John completed education at Wallington County Grammar School from 1979 to 1986.
