Simon George

Simon George has extensive work experience in finance and business controlling. Simon started their career as a Finance Future Talent Trainee at adidas group in 2012, where they later became a Senior Business Analyst. In 2013, they founded their own company, GreenIndusTree GmbH Germany, where they served as the CFO. Simon then joined Esprit as the Manager of Business Controlling Wholesale Europe from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Simon is working at G-Star RAW, starting as a Business Controller DACH and later being promoted to Finance Director DACH. In 2020, they took on the role of Finance Director Europe Wholesale & Retail.

Simon George attended the University of Cologne from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Diploma in Economics. In 2009 and 2010, they participated in an MBA Program in Finance at the Asian Institute of Management as part of their studies.
