Karen Berger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. karen began their career in 2006 as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Amdocs, where they performed manual functionality checks in a UNIX environment and worked with ORACLE DB. In 2008, Karen joined Sapiens as a PD Algorithm Developer, where they were responsible for algorithm and software development for the calculation engine. karen then transitioned to the role of Applicative SQL Developer, focusing on data cleansing operations and integrity data checks. Karen later became a Data Analyst and SQL Developer, working on complex SQL queries, data integrity checks, and implementation of product changes required by the Finance Minister. In their most recent role at G-STAT, Karen served as a Credit Risk Control Analyst at Bank Leumi, analyzing and maintaining models of Risk Control Credit and utilizing SQL and SAS programming.
Karen Berger has a strong educational background with a focus on mathematics and data science. In 1998, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. From 2003 to 2006, they attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued further studies in Mathematics. Most recently, in 2019-2020, Karen obtained a Technion Certified degree in Data Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Additionally, in May 2020, they obtained a certification in Tableau essentials from LinkedIn.
