Or Carmel is a data analyst at G-STAT, engaged as an external consultant for Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank in the Advanced models division, where analytical skills in SAS and SQL are applied to credit and risk assessment. Prior experience includes serving as a medical laboratory technician at Clalit Health Services, focusing on the microbiology department and COVID-19 diagnostics, and at L.E.M Laboratory of Pathology, specializing in immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology. Additionally, Or Carmel has contributed as an undergraduate teaching assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in histology and physiology laboratories and has worked as a research assistant in immunology under Prof. Ruth Arnon at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Or Carmel holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
