Heather Estes

Heather Estes is a seasoned professional in codes and regulatory compliance within the construction materials industry, currently serving as a Senior Codes and Regulatory Compliance Specialist at GAF since September 2019. In this role, Heather oversees the monitoring and development of GAF’s position on regulatory matters, draws on extensive expertise in building envelope systems, and creates educational resources for internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience includes significant roles as Research Manager and Materials Research Scientist at the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety, and as an Analytical Chemist at both PRI Asphalt Technologies and PetroAlgae. Heather holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor of Science in General Biology from Florida Institute of Technology.
