Gunnar Ingvi Thorisson

Gunnar Ingvi Thorisson is an experienced IT professional with a strong focus on consulting and services in security, wireless technologies, data centers, and network solutions. As the CEO of Netters since August 2017, Gunnar has demonstrated leadership in the IT sector. Gunnar has also served as a board member for Gagnaveita Reykjavíkur - Ljósleiðarinn and previously for Hið íslenska númeraflutningsfélag ehf. Notably, Gunnar held the position of Chief Technology Officer at 365 and was a data center solutions architect at Sensa, where Gunnar also served as a board member and major shareholder. Gunnar’s early career includes founding Kvikmyndir.is, Iceland’s leading movie database, and co-owning an ISP company. With a CCIE certification obtained in 1999 and education from Reykjavik University, Gunnar possesses extensive technical expertise.
