Mary Beth Berkes Pe

Mary Beth Berkes, PE, serves as the Civil Technical Leader and Associate at GAI Consultants, Inc. since May 2010, specializing in conservation, water resources engineering, and natural channel design. Previously, Mary Beth held the roles of Assistant Project Manager and Project Engineer, focusing on hydraulic structures, floodplain mapping, dam design, and wetland and stream mitigation. Prior experience includes work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where design and analysis of coastal structures were conducted, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, contributing to coastal design research related to tsunami hazards. Mary Beth holds a Master of Science in Coastal and Ocean Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
