Ianesa Morantte has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Research Assistant I at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in 1998. Ianessa then moved to Perlan Therapeutics in 1999, where they worked as a Research Associate II/Lab Manager. In 2001, they returned to the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, this time as a Research Assistant II. In 2005, they worked as a Research Assistant III at the Dulbecco Telethon Institute, followed by a role as a Research Assistant III/Lab Manager at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in 2006. In 2010, they joined the Howard Hughes Medical Institute as a Research Specialist. In 2011, they moved to the Harvard School of Public Health as a Laboratory/Project Manager. In 2015, they began working at the Rockefeller University as a Senior Scientist/Laboratory Manager. Finally, in 2022, they joined Prolific Machines Inc. as the Director of Laboratory Operations/Principal Scientist.
Ianessa Morantte holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
