David Sieh

David Sieh has over 30 years of work experience. In 1986, they began their career as a Professional Researcher at CADSWES, University of Colorado at Boulder. In 1993, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Coral Systems, where they developed highly scalable software to detect cell phone fraud. In 1994, they founded Raven Consulting, where they acted as a software development contractor and led a number of projects for a small portfolio of companies. In 1999, they became the Director of Data Warehousing at Affinia, where they directed a team and developed software in support of business intelligence. In 2001, they founded Break Thru View, where they conceived and developed a software product to analyze publicly traded companies. In 2004, they joined Return Path as SVP Engineering / VP Engineering, where they led, scaled, and matured the Engineering, Technical Operations, Data, and Corporate IT organizations. In 2016, they took a Professional Gap Year, during which they rescued over 12,500 lbs of food with the Boulder Food Rescue, mostly on bike. In 2017, they joined Gaia Inc. as SVP Product & Technology and VP Technology, where they lead and matured Engineering, Technical Operations, Data, and Corporate IT organizations in support of fulfilling Gaia's mission and business growth.

David Sieh earned a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1986, followed by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution in 1988.
