Olivier Falardeau

Olivier Falardeau has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Olivier started their career as an Intern Software Developer at Bell in 2015 and then moved on as a Web Application Developer at GoGAP. In 2016, they joined Mirego as a Software Developer and later founded Gourgane Algorithmic Trading, where they served as the Co-founder & CTO until 2022.

Olivier also worked as a Software Developer at Curbside, which was later acquired by Rakuten. Olivier then transitioned to Rakuten Ready, where they worked as a Machine Learning Developer.

In 2020, they joined oxio and took on the roles of Software Engineering Lead and later as the Head of Engineering.

Since 2019, Olivier has also been a Technical Advisor at Leviat Legal.

Their most recent position is as the Co-Founder & CTO of gaiia, a role they have held since January 2022.

From 2012 to 2016, Olivier Falardeau attended Université Laval, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Software Engineering.
