Roma Cheeré R. Mateo

Roma Cheeré R. Mateo is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern at Gainesville Community Counseling Center since February 2022 and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida since August 2020, where Roma develops inclusive online lesson plans for Human Growth and Development. Previous experience includes serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Alachua County Crisis Center, a School Counseling Intern at Eastside High School and Stephen Foster Elementary, and roles as an Academic Tutor and Substitute Teacher. Roma holds a Specialist in Education and a Master in Education in Counselor Education/School Counseling from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.
