Christina Liassides has been working in the professional services sector since 1991. Christina began their career as a Community Support Worker for Mental Health Services at East Sussex County Council. In 1997, they moved to Brighton Housing Trust as a Rough Sleepers Co-ordinator. In 2000, they joined Brighton & Hove City Council as Head of Highway Asset & Network Management and Operations Manager, Housing & Environment. In 2016, they began working at Maia Consultancy Limited as a Senior Consultant: Performance Management. Since 2017, they have been the Head Of Professional Services at Gaist. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for strategic, budgetary, contract, project and operational management of teams providing highway services, developing new job descriptions, producing strategic reports, leading service transformations, and managing teams of Community Support Workers.
Christina Liassides obtained their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Cambridge in 1989. Christina then attended the University of Brighton from 1993 to 1995, where they received a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology. In 2012, they returned to the University of Brighton and earned a Master's Degree in Highway Engineering in 2015. Christina also holds a Level 5 Management accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute.
