Lemuel Canady has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lemuel is currently working at Gala Games as a Lead Blockchain Developer and Web 3 Techno-Wizard, where they write smart contracts, creates contract tests, and teaches and mentors in the field of blockchain and Solidity coding. Prior to that, they worked at Digibear.io as a Ful-lstack Blockchain Engineer, where they developed smart contracts, minting sites, and landing pages for NFT projects. Lemuel also contributed as a core team member in a hackathon. Lemuel was also a Full-Stack Blockchain Developer at Rhymsick Coin, where they created DeFi smart contracts and implemented tokenomics. Lemuel briefly worked as a JavaScript Specialist at Clever Programmer and as the Owner, Illustrator, Designer & Full-Stack Developer at The Short & Sweet Co., where they created interactive educational stories and games for children. Before venturing into the blockchain industry, Lemuel gained experience as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems, where they programmed batch programs and worked on healthcare projects. Lemuel also worked as a self-employed Consultant, focusing on webpage and database designs, and as a Customer Service Representative at T-Mobile, handling customer inquiries. In the earlier years of their career, Lemuel worked as a Data Entry Clerk and provided general office support at CSC and Volt Management Services Limited, respectively, primarily working on database design and troubleshooting tasks.
Lemuel Canady began their education in 1999 at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they studied Computer Science. After completing their studies there in 2000, they pursued a degree in Graphic Design at Chemeketa Community College from 2009 to 2011. Following this, Lemuel attended Portland State University for three years, from 2011 to 2014, to further their studies in Graphic Design.
