Brett Kerbel has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Brett started their career as a Software Development Manager at infonautics in 1995. Brett then moved on to CDNOW Online / BeMusic, where they served as the Director of Site Development, leading the creation of online music and video retail applications and overseeing international initiatives.
In 2003, Kerbel joined Lockheed Martin as a Project Engineer and held various positions, including Project Manager and GPS III Chief Software Engineer. Brett was responsible for integrating flight, payload, and communication software for the GPS III program and led an Independent Research and Development program focused on integrating unmanned air, ground, and maritime systems using SOA technologies.
From 2007 to 2009, Kerbel worked at GSI Commerce as the Director of Software Engineering. In 2009, they became the Vice President of Technology at The OpenSky Project, where they led platform development, technical operations, and business systems. Brett built a high-performance team and selected best-in-class vendors and technical solutions to establish a highly scalable platform.
In 2010, Kerbel joined Alliance Global Services as a Consultant before moving on to GalaxE Solutions, where they currently serve as the Vice President of Delivery Technology. In this role, they provide leadership to Fortune 100 Healthcare and Insurance industry clients, overseeing full life cycle development practices, strategic planning, project and budget management, and managing geographically diverse engineering teams across multiple locations.
Throughout their career, Kerbel has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including software development, e-commerce, platform development, and project management.
Brett Kerbel attended the University of Delaware from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
