Elsa Locardi

Elsa Locardi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and leadership within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the Head of R&D Project Management at Galderma, Elsa leads a team of project managers and oversees the integration of global development projects for the Aesthetics and Prescription business units. Previous roles include Director of Global Brand Lead at Takeda, where Elsa defined marketing strategies for late-stage products, and Director of Global Program Management Lead at Shire. Elsa has a strong foundation in biopharmaceutical development from tenure at Baxalta and Jerini AG, focusing on project implementation, financial analysis, and drug development processes. Elsa holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich, an MBA from FOM University of Applied Sciences, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
