Marco Laucelli

Marco Laucelli has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Marco is the Founder & CEO of Galeo, a digital engineering company that helps companies build their corporate digital platforms, serving customers in manufacturing, utilities, and banking sectors. Prior to Galeo, Marco was a Professor at IE Business School and ESADE Business & Law School, where they taught digital programs. Marco also served as the Interim CEO & Advisor at Kigg Group, overseeing the development of startup projects in blockchain, analytics, cloud operations, and mobile business. Marco has a background in innovation and entrepreneurship, having worked as a Founder & CEO of Novelti, an artificial intelligence platform for manufacturing companies, and as the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Manager for Balearic Government. Marco also has experience with venture capital as a Board Member of Alantis Capital. Marco started their career as a Product Manager at GridSystems, where they contributed to the development of distributed computing middleware for financial market projects. Marco has also held executive positions at IBM in innovation, service and solution design, and IT managed services. Overall, Marco possesses a diverse skill set and proven track record in leadership, teaching, and digital innovation.

Marco Laucelli received their PhD in Theoretical Physics from Universidad de Oviedo, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Physics at the same university, from 1992 to 1996.
