Executive Director at Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT)

Chet Work has extensive experience in land conservation and management, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Gallatin Valley Land Trust since June 2020. Prior to this role, Chet Work was a member of the Advisory Board for the UCSB Natural Reserve System from December 2014 to June 2020 and held the position of Executive Director at The Land Trust for Santa Barbara County from October 2014 to June 2020. Chet Work also served as Executive Director for the Teton Regional Land Trust from August 2010 to October 2014 and worked as Conservation Manager at The Nature Conservancy from May 2005 to August 2010. Earlier in the career, Chet Work managed Wilderness Ventures and was a Field Science Educator at the Headlands Institute. Educational credentials include a Master's in Environmental Management from Duke University and a BA in Economics and Environmental Science from Colgate University.
