Lauren Holt serves as the Upper Learning English Faculty and English Department Chair at The Galloway School since August 2015, where responsibilities include developing and supporting curricular initiatives across middle and upper learning English and collaborating with other departments. Prior positions include Associate Director of ESL for Writing and Communication at Emory University from June 2013 to August 2015, Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2012 to August 2013, and various roles at Emory University and the University of Tennessee, including Woodruff Library and Emory Writing Center Fellow, Ph.D. Student, Graduate Teaching Fellow, and English Instructor. Lauren Holt earned a Ph.D. in English from Emory University, a Master's degree from the University of Tennessee, and a Bachelor's degree from Hendrix College.
