Melanie Purvis

Melanie Purvis is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse at Gallus Detox Centers since January 2020, Melanie has also held various roles at Longmont United Hospital since April 1986, including Hospital Supervisor, ER nurse, and travel nurse. From February 2013 to August 2018, Melanie worked as an Emergency Room charge RN at the Indian Health Service, where responsibilities included life-saving interventions. Melanie's nursing career began at Kaiser Permanente, serving as an ER staff nurse from March 1989 to May 2000. Educational qualifications include a BSN in Nursing Science from Presbyterian St. Luke's School of Nursing, along with degrees in Chemistry and Nursing from the University of Denver, and Pre-Nursing Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.
