John Kohut

John Kohut has a diverse work experience in different industries. John co-founded and serves as CEO of Global Air Logistics and Training, Inc. (GALT), where they focus on developing advanced capabilities for defense and commercial applications. John also serves as the Chairman and CEO of Sea Dragon Energy, Inc. Additionally, they were the President and CEO of THOMKO Winning Solutions, which provided cost-effective solutions for start-up companies. John was the Chief Operating Officer of Orison, where they pioneered Network Operated Distributed Energy Storage (NODES) technology. Prior to this, they served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Planetary Power, Inc. and the Chief Executive Officer of Astrobotic Technology, Inc. John also worked as a Senior Program Manager at Raytheon Missile Systems and served in the United States Navy as a CAPT where they flew F-14 Tomcat fighters operationally and managed various fighter aircraft, weapons, and command and control programs. John also served as the MIDS Program Manager at PEO C4I.

John Kohut earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1976. John later attended the Florida Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1988 to earn their Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
