Kristen Rizzo Lomastro is currently serving as the President of Active Systems at Galvion since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Member at Chief from July 2021 to July 2023. From 2017 to 2021, Kristen worked at L3Harris Technologies, initially as the Vice President of Engineering from September 2017 to January 2020, and later as the Vice President of Program Management from January 2020 to July 2021. Before joining L3Harris Technologies, they worked as the Director of Programs at OnPoint Systems, LLC from May 2015 to September 2017. Kristen also served as the Vice President of Programs at Wilcox Industries from July 2014 to May 2015. Prior to that, they worked at L-3 Communications, where they held multiple roles including Vice President of Military Programs from May 2013 to June 2014, Imaging Business Area Manager from December 2006 to May 2013, and Program Manager from April 2004 to December 2006. Their earlier work experience includes serving as a Program Manager at Teledyne D.G O'Brien from 2002 to 2004, and as a Product Engineer at Tyco Submarine Systems from 1999 to 2002. Kristen began their career as a Field Application Engineer at Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation from 1995 to 1999.
Kristen Rizzo Lomastro completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University from 1991 to 1995. Kristen Rizzo then pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst between 1999 and 2001. In 2002 to 2004, Kristen earned their MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2013.
