Damien Brennan

Damien Brennan is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in systems administration and IT support. Currently serving as an IT Infrastructure Project Leader and ICT Officer at Galway City Council since October 2021, Damien has previously held the position of Senior Systems Administrator at The Chanelle Group from July 2019 to October 2021, where a wide range of technologies and systems were managed. Before that, Damien worked as a System Administrator and Helpdesk Support at Chanelle from March 2014 to July 2019, overseeing IT support for multiple international offices. Damien's career started in systems administration and desktop support roles at companies including Harvey Nash Group, TecSupport, Marine Institute, Hewlett-Packard, and ADC, building a strong foundation in IT operations and user support. Education includes a National Diploma in IT Support from GMIT.
