Morgan Matthews

Morgan Matthews has extensive experience in information systems and software development, currently serving as the Information Systems Project Leader at Galway County Council since 1997, where responsibilities include leading the software development team and managing business systems across the organization. Previous roles include acting Head of Information Systems, overseeing the department's strategy and delivery, and serving as a Geographic Information Systems Officer, contributing to major infrastructure projects. Morgan also held the position of Technical Director at Computer Systems Validation Ltd. from February 2008 to October 2014, focusing on software validation within regulated industries in the life sciences sector. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Cloud Computing from University College Dublin and an H.DIP in Computer Studies from Technological University Dublin.
