Senior Medical Physicist (diagnostic Imaging And Radiation Protection) at Galway University Hospitals

Christoph Kleefeld currently serves as an Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Medical Physics at the University of Galway, a position held since 2017. Concurrently, Christoph has been a Senior Medical Physicist at Galway University Hospitals since 2004, specializing in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Protection as well as Radiotherapy. Prior experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Atmospheric Science at the National University of Ireland, Galway from 1998 to 2004 and as a Meteorologist at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research from 1991 to 1993. Christoph holds a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Bremen, a Diplom in Physics from The University of Göttingen, and a Vordiplom in Geophysics from the University of Münster.
