Dorukhan Acar has extensive work experience in various industries and positions. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Visiting Consultant at Oliver Wyman. Dorukhan then joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2002, where they served as a Senior Associate until 2006. Following that, they worked as a Freelance Consultant from 2006 to 2008. Dorukhan rejoined The Boston Consulting Group in 2008 and held positions as Consultant, Project Leader, and Principal until 2011.
In 2011, Acar joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as the Principal and Country Manager for Turkey. After four years, they moved to Value Partners Management Consulting as a Partner from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they founded Insignia Yapım A.Ş., a Turkish production company focused mainly on feature films, where they served as Founder and Managing Director.
In 2018, Acar became a Board Member, Executive Committee Member, and Chief Treasurer at Galatasaray SK, a Turkish sports club. Dorukhan held this position until June 2021. In 2019, they co-founded Gamer Arena and served as a Board Member. Currently, Acar works as a Strategy Lead Interim at a confidential company starting in May 2021.
Dorukhan Acar pursued their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2001 at Clark University. During this time, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics and Business Management. In order to further enhance their knowledge and expertise, they pursued another MA degree in Business Law from Istanbul Bilgi University from 2003 to 2006.
