Gian Paolo Paredes

Gian Paolo Paredes is an accomplished Tutor with current experience at HeyTutor since February 2023 and has been a Freelance Concept Artist for Games for Love since April 2020, contributing to various projects as a volunteer 2D artist. Previously, Paredes served as the Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager at Altech Electronics from September 2020 to May 2023, overseeing graphic design and digital marketing initiatives. Earlier roles include Treasurer of Game Design and Arts Collaboration, Resident Assistant at UCSC Porter College, and a 3D Artist at NASA Ames Research Center, where contributions were made to the NEMO-Net game project. Paredes has extensive experience in both 2D and 3D art, having worked with multiple teams on various projects during academic years at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where a degree in Arts and Design: Games and Playable Media was completed in 2019.
