Tariq Al Wari, FMVA®

Tariq Al Wari has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tariq began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as an Analyst in the Assurance and Advisory Business Service department for 2 years before being promoted to Assistant Manager in the Transaction Advisory Services division. In this role, they conducted financial due diligences and managed various financial reporting projects for clients across industries such as Oil & Gas, Construction, and Telecom.

Following their time at Ernst & Young, Tariq co-founded Tonga Fashion House Pvt Ltd and served as the CEO. During their tenure, they successfully launched an online fashion brand focused on urban women in India. Tariq utilized analytics and consumer behavior insights to support customer relationship management and implemented growth strategies to expand the company's retail operations online and offline.

After leaving Tonga Fashion House, Tariq joined The Prophets as a Marketing Intelligence Consultant. In this position, they worked with clients from different industries, such as Toys R Us and BPL, to develop market intelligence reports and conduct GAP analysis. Tariq'swork contributed to securing media coverage for the company's clients.

Tariq then moved on to StarPick Fantasy Pvt Ltd, where they served as the AVP of Business Intelligence and Finance. Tariq played a crucial role in the company's growth by leveraging their expertise in analytics and finance to drive informed decision-making. Tariq'stenure lasted for two years before they joined Games2win India Pvt Ltd as the Head of Analytics. In this role, Tariq oversaw the analytics department and contributed to the company's overall strategic direction.

Through their work experiences, Tariq Al Wari has acquired a deep understanding of analytics, finance, and strategic management.

Tariq Al Wari, FMVA®, obtained the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst® certification from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in the year 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Advanced Financial and Management Accounting from Christ University, Bangalore. In addition to these qualifications, Tariq also attained a certification in Databases and SQL for Data Science from Coursera in December 2019.
