Yona Geffen

Yona Geffen joined Gamida Cell’s leadership team as Vice President, Research and Development in December 2020, bringing over two decades of experience in leading clinical and drug development in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Gamida Cell, Yona served in different positions including Vice President, Research and Development at Stem Cell Medicine, Vice President, Research and Validation at Compugen and several roles including Senior Vice President, Clinical Development, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive Officer at Avraham Pharmaceuticals.

Yona holds a Ph.D. in immunology and microbiology and an M.Sc. in business management from the Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
