Chris Venter

Chris Venter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chris started their career as a Chartered Accountant at Arnold Associates from May 2010 to May 2012. Afterward, they served as the Managing Director - Western Australia at Perpetuity Capital Pty Limited from August 2014 to July 2015. Chris then became the CEO of Edengreen Hydroclimaponics, an Agri Tech company, from April 2016 to September 2017. From March 2013 to June 2018, they held the position of Executive Director at Perihelion Health Limited, where they were involved in building a new private hospital. In August 2018, Chris took on the role of Executive Chairman at Good Earth Solutions Pty Ltd, an AgTech company specializing in soil and plant nutritional technologies. Chris co-founded Good Growing Solutions BV, a global business focused on creating better food through AgTech, and served as a Co-Founder from October 2017 to February 2020. Chris also served as the Director of Homestead For Youth from May 2017 to September 2018. More recently, they were appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at GAMMA DIAGNOSTICS, INC. since May 2021. Currently, Chris is a Partner at Oasis Partners, where they have been since September 2019.

Chris Venter's education history is as follows:

In 1984, Chris started their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accountancy at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Chris completed this degree in 1987.

From 1990 to 1991, Chris pursued an Honours BCom degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, completing it in 1991.

In 1992, Chris attended the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants for their Chartered Accountant degree.

Subsequently, from 1993 to 1994, Chris studied Management Accounting at CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).

Additional certifications were obtained by Chris. In March 1994, they became a Chartered Accountant from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Later, in January 2012, they obtained another Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
