Matteo Luzzi has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and industries. In 2017, they became an Alumnus of the Student Association for the Scuola Superiore (IANUA) at the University of Genoa. At ISA - Ianua Studenti e Alumni, Matteo was involved in enhancing the talents of students and helping them design and build their future. Matteo held this role until September 2021.
In 2018, Matteo had a student internship at Ansaldo Energia, where they gained experience in performing 2D and 3D CFD calculations using software Traf on a Linux platform. Matteo also utilized Linux shell scripting for calculation handling and submission, as well as performed data post-processing and produced loss correlations from results using Excel VBA sheets. Matteo'sinternship at Ansaldo Energia lasted until October 2018.
Matteo then had a guest researcher position at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) in 2019. This role lasted from June 2019 to September 2019, allowing him to contribute to research projects during that time.
Most recently, Matteo joined Gamma Technologies in August 2022 as an Application Engineer - Thermal Fluids. Matteo'scurrent role involves utilizing their expertise in thermal fluids to contribute to the company's projects.
Matteo Luzzi completed their education in a chronological order. Matteo graduated high school from L.S.S. Gian Domenico Cassini in 2013 with a diploma in scientific studies. In 2016, they enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Genova and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. Later that year, they also attended the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University for a summer school program in Mechanical Engineering focused on Turbomachinery. From 2016 to 2018, Matteo pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Aeronautics from the same institution. During this time, they also enrolled in the Higher Education Institute - University of Genoa, IANUA-ISSUGE, where they studied Science and Technology for Sustainability. In 2018, Matteo started their doctoral research at the Università degli Studi di Genova, focusing on Engineering of Machines and Systems for Energy, Environment, and Transportation.
In terms of additional certifications, Matteo obtained the "Abilitazione alla Professione di Ingegnere Industriale, Esame di Stato" from the Ordine degli Ingegneri di Genova in February 2020. Matteo also earned a "Diplôme d'études en Langue Française - DELF B1" from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) in November 2013, and a "Cambridge English FIRST - FCE" certification from Cambridge Assessment English in May 2012.
