Todd Heidenthal has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and entrepreneurship. Todd started their career at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company as an Operations Engineer, where they analyzed spacecraft telemetry and developed batch processors for real-time simulator test data. Todd then served as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, designing a 3D visual representation of a space vehicle and developing software for spacecraft attitude and orbital analysis. At Polycom, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in video and voice conferencing software. Todd later joined Halliburton Oil as a Senior Software Developer, where they refactored code and decoupled metrics to improve graphical comparisons. Todd then worked as a Senior Software Developer at Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, focusing on code quality improvement and defect mitigation in military software. Todd also founded Salamander Software, a self-funded company dedicated to enhancing the scalability and concurrent capabilities of Java products. In 2015, Todd founded Intrepid Investing, LLC, a real estate entrepreneurship venture specializing in wholesaling and creative financing. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Gamma Technologies, LLC.
Todd Heidenthal began their education at Leigh High School from 1984 to 1988. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from San Jose State University from 1988 to 1993. Following their undergraduate degree, Todd attended Purdue University from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Continuing their academic journey, they then attended Colorado State University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science.
