John Lim Ji Xiong

John Lim Ji Xiong (Ts.) has a diverse work experience in the engineering and digital sectors. John Lim Ji currently serves as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at GAMUDA since April 2023 and as the Executive Director - Digital & Innovation at GAMUDA LAND since November 2022. Prior to these roles, they worked at GAMUDA as the Head of Gamuda Excellence Transformation (GET) from March 2021 to May 2022, where they led initiatives to enhance digital excellence in the company. Before joining GAMUDA, John worked at MMC-Gamuda, where they held positions including Senior Research And Development Engineer, R&D Engineer, and Plant Engineer. During their time at MMC-Gamuda, they achieved international recognition for their work on the development of the world's first autonomous Tunnel Boring Machines and cloud-based data analysis tools. Overall, John possesses a strong background in engineering and has demonstrated expertise in digital transformation and innovation.

John Lim Ji Xiong (Ts.) obtained a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In 2021, they attended the University of Cambridge for a program in Managing Innovation Strategically, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, John holds certifications such as Professional Technologist from the Malaysian Board of Technologists, as well as certifications in Google Cloud Architect and Data Engineering from Google. John Lim Ji also obtained the Professional Scrum Master 1 certification from Scrum.org in 2020.
