Jacob Thigpen

Jacob Thigpen is an experienced professional with a strong background in sales engineering, marketing, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Sales Engineer for Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, Jacob aids local businesses in building effective marketing campaigns. In addition to this role, Jacob holds multiple positions within Young Professionals of Augusta, including Vice President and Board Member At Large. Jacob also volunteers as an Ambassador for the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and manages social media for Double B Plant Farm. Previous experience includes roles in marketing and communication at WJBF News Channel 6, the Family YMCA of Greater Augusta, and various writing positions focused on sports journalism. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Augusta University.
